SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH ON
THE MAHARISHI TRANSCENDENTAL MEDITATION®
AND TM-SIDHI® Program
VOLUMES 1-5 AND RECENT RESEARCH
Table of Contents

There are 508 studies collected in volumes 1 through 5 of Scientific Research on Maharishi's Transcendental Meditation and TM-Sidhi Program: Collected Papers, and in the recent research section that follows volumes 1 through 5. These studies are listed below by volume with annotations that summarize their findings. Each reference also includes previous publication information and/or details of the institutes or universities at which the research was conducted as well as conferences at which the research results were presented.

The 508 papers are organized chronologically, and by sections, beginning with paper number 1 on the physiological effects of the Transcendental Meditation technique, published in Science in 1970 by Dr. Keith Wallace, and ending with paper 508 on world peace by Dr. Bevan Morris, recently published in Modern Science and Vedic Science. With some minor variation, each volume is divided into four parts: physiological studies, psychological studies, sociological studies, and theoretical and review papers. Of special interest are the 40 studies on the Maharishi Effect--the growth of coherence in the collective consciousness of states, nations, and the world, which can be found in the final section of Part III: Sociology, B: Productivity and Quality of Life, principally in Vols. 4-5 and in the recent research section.

Reprints of individual papers may be ordered through the Institute for Scientific Research, Maharishi University of Management, Fairfield, IA 52557.
